Adult peer pressure to make you realize all you can be in the days to come, public pressure from friends pulls you away in a blind lead they want you part of their mind set refusing to be. What about your own thoughts have you left them behind, to please all others and feeling the world is so unkind.Peer pressure being put on you is not the best feeling in the world I know because I have myself have had all types of pressure put on me to do things. At times you wanted to say yes just to impress others, but why try to impress them when you only see them one point of time period in your life so trying to impress them isn't necessary.Call it peer pressure or falling off the band wagon or just plain cultural protocol. If everyone else is doing it, it doesn't mean that it's OK for me to do it as well. Not even a single Doughnut since 2012 and then had to eat three donuts in one day, all in the name of national doughnut day.
Eugina says this poem is similar to “Death of an Innocent” which she said she wrote when in high school—but “Peer Pressure” is from the perspective of the drunk driver rather than the innocent victim.She dealt with peer pressure everyday Except she chose the wrong pathway. She used to get straight A's in school But she forgot the biggest rule. She let others control her mind And found herself in one big bind. Once she went there, there was no turning back The first thing she did was start smoking crack. Then it was cigarettes, sex, and then beer.
